Please let's step it up! For the sake of our nation.

I just recently pick up some haitian movies to watch this weekend from a friend and OMG!!!! All of them was suck. It is ambarassing to watch and to have a friend or a stranger to watch it's worst.

People we have to do better and we can do better I know we can. Because Haitians are very talented people.

Please take this advised if you can take constructive criticism:

1. Please write a script.

I've been on shooting sites where there is no script :-( Wrong move!!!! How do you expect a good film with no script.

If you don't know how?

Go to school and educate yourself about filmmaking, if you can't afford it, don't worry thank God for the internet.

I've learn so much just through the internet about anything I want to know.

2. Get people that know how to act. A bad acting will either make your film or destroy your film. TOO MANY HAITIAN MOVIES HAVE BAD ACTORS AND ACTRESSES IN THEM. DO NOT PUT YOUR MOTHER, FATHER, SISTER, BROTHERS, AUNTS, UNCLES, FRIENDS IN YOUR MOVIE just because they want to help you. If they can't act sorry don't use them. IT WILL DESTROY YOUR FILM.

3. Please use propper lighting.

Study it!!!!! Watch the pros. Get people that can get the job done.

4. YOU DON'T HAVE TO ACT IN YOUR OWN FILM. You as the director don't have to act, especially when you can't do the job. Stick to directing if that's what you are good in. There's too many of that in HAITIAN FILMS.

5. Take your time. It's not the end of the world.

Jesus say that he doesn't even know himself when his coming.

Please don't rush your film. Take time and nurture it.Make sure it's coming right, the way you invision it. Get with people like me that will tell you the truth about your film. Please people I just want to help you all. Because I love haitian film and I'm proud to be a Haitian.

And number 6, this is where I come in at.

6. GET A PROFESSIONAL GRAPHIC ARTIST.

Yes that's me. And not trying to promote my business.

But this is what I do I make you look good. "PRESENTATION IS EVERYTHING" The cover of your DVD is the first thing people see before they watch your movie.

Make sure it can stand next to any American Films in Block Buster Video.

My people I am not new in the filming industry.

Some of you might say I have not produced anything and I'm criticing.

If you have a listening ear you will know that I'm only looking out for my people.

Because I'm Haitian too.

And yes I am working on a film right now, working on the script.
