Dear Mr Bernard D. Well...it is about time someone like you...

Dear Mr Bernard D.
Well...it is about time someone like you tries to degrade the writer and producer of the movie Pluie d'Espoir.

I am not at all surprised by your first phrase depicting the very common of the frustrated Haitian essence to the point that I did not continue reading your comments.

Forgive me, but I am never attracted to negative vibes and missjudgement of characters especially when the person attacking you did not live near you nor did that person knew much about what motivated you to write and produce such a film.
Indeed there are many Haitians who have left the country and never returned to their native corners, I do not blame them depending on what pushed them to do so...I do not know if you are one of them or if you are just another frustrated HAIIAN who didn't live his native town; whether it being one of the provinces or Port-su-Prince...let me take the occasion to answer the very first part of your letter Mr Bernard D...DO you have a last name?

I do not know since you chose not to reveal it, It is to me very meaningless Mr. Bernard D. My answer to your accusasion that I wanted to exploit the country while I lived in the Diaspora for 40 years is totally inacurate and besides during the spread of 1997 and 2004 I have flown to Haiti 320 times, so you see, I probably know the country more than you know. The other answer about the reality of the peasant who never came back...WOW! You guys go all out thinking negative stuffs without doing your home work hein!...Just for you info and ignorance regarding the exodus of Haitians who have not or came back to their country...The story of Pluis d'Espoir is inspired by a living giant (Paesant) who left his country and did come back to create 6000 jobs in the north side of Haiti, just like Dr Benjamin, being one of the greatest surgeaon in NY came back to build a water company giving work to so many people in Pond Sonde...you need to not look in the mirror when you are making these acusations Mr. Bernard D...isn't what's killing our country, Haitians hearing things about their country and shooting it out as if there were there present!
I wrote Pluis d'Espoir Mr Bernard D. because when I was a kid, I grew up with the peasant every summer during school vacation when I went to Chalon, near Desruisseaux...and my little friend ( a pesant) was named Ti Michel just like the son of my protagonist...he was my best friend.

I didn't grow up in Petion Ville.

And the best souvenirs of my life were spent in Miragoane where my father is from...ever since I was a kid I always imagined what a peasant from that area would feel like coming to Port-au-Prince and every else is pure imagination setting a trend that we should all follow, trying to teach the one that serves you rather than hold him back so he can be exploited, you are probably one of the Pirates of my films...now that you can't get your hands on the real thing you are trying to kill the whole message...must people if not all will not fall for this Mr. Bernard what?

Have a good day and again judging from the very begining of your letter, it is not worth reading on!
Cheers, Jacques Roc
