JR -
I read some of the postings and I see that you claim Philippe is the strongest message in your film yet you had not talked about Sajous (your carefully chosen actor and friend who played the "perfect Philippe") until your 5/2/09 posting.

Note that the film was released in June 2005: let me do the math; 4 years and no mention of Philippe!?

Sajous is not in any other film on the Haitian market and the last I checked he has not acted anywhere else...not in the Haitian film industry, not Hollywood and not Bollywood.

It is interesting to see that you gave your most important role carrying a "strong message" in the film to a friend who never acted before.

Today you boldly tell us that you made the perfect choice...this after being silent on your great decision for 4 years...my brother, have some pity on us, we are only the public who stand ready to support you and your work. I'm trying to understand but please be straight with your fans, we deserve it and you are better than that.

Apparently it is more difficult to release the final version than it is to produce the movie from scratch.

I for one believe that there will never be the release of the so called "final version" with 12 additional scenes.

Why do we have to wait four years for the final version of a movie that seems to most people objective people to be complete...but that you keep saying is incomplete - missing 12 scenes where the symbolism comes alive.

You are in effect the best propaganda tool for the pirates.

Indeed the pirates have you to thank for the sale of this bogus version - one which you seem to self-servingly praise to no end. I suppose we will continue to see you on Youtube displaying in full color what we are not do buy while being completely amazed and shocked that the pirates copied your promotional cover.

Dear friend, wake up and realize that they are by definition rip-off artists and that is their chosen profession.

Let me see, you wanted them to call you and ask for permission to use your DVD cover and give you credit for the artwork on the already pirated DVD?

Bear well in mind that the pirates are benefiting from this procrastination and oblique advertisement (courtesy of you: Director, Producer...You etc.) every single day. With all due respect, release the movie Mr. Roc and let your supporters see the "real deal" and stop asking us not to see a movie that you talk about all the time and have already released in the theaters in Haiti.

In closing I am hoping that you can squarely address for us the following:

1. If the movie was [finished enough] to be released in the movie theaters in Haiti in June of 2005 how is it that now we hear it is "unfinished"?

2. What does that say about releasing what was unfinished to the public in 2005 and...

yes charging money to view it?

3. If the so called symbolism was there in June 2005 then why is it that now we hear from you that there is a symbolism that the public must see in 12 more scenes: which is thus far a promise and a dream?

Let me take a guess...the movie was indeed finished in 2005 otherwise you would have not released it to the theaters.

The pirated copy hit the streets and now you have to creatively spin up a story that there are 12 missing scenes...much like the one dimensional self-absorbed non-actor (Sajous) is the perfect Philippe yet this perfection received no mention or accolades from you for 4 years?

Mr. Roc tear down this wall of spin, smoke & mirrors and let go of these rather naive attempts at fooling your public and loyal fans - you have too much to offer...embark on a new project where the world can once again enjoy your wonderful talent and natural gifts - leave the spin to politicians.

Humbly yours...Henri
