Mr. Filmmaker,

I feel compelled to clarify a few points in your post. First of all, I did not write the article.

No one describes himself or herself that way. I was introduced as such by the site administrator.

You are right, my University degrees are not necessarily indicative of my filmmaking skills.

However, they are a part of who I am. So when I am asked to submit a bio, I think I should mention them. Unless of course, you think I should hide them from the public, in which case it could be construed as deceptive.

This is my first film. I am not at all arrogant enough to try to compete with the top ten in the industry.

I have the utmost respect for all artists and the struggle it takes to make a film. You pre-jugged me as arrogant without even knowing anything about me, simply because the article mentioned that I have two university degrees.

I think that 's wrong! Education doesn't automatically make someone arrogant.

Quite the contrary, the educated person understands that she is a lifelong learner and can learn from anyone.

The public is yet to see my best work. This is only the beginning for me. However, I am proud of the story and think the public will enjoy it. I am not here to promote my education or myself.

I want to encourage people to come see "Le Peche et Le Pardon".

So please let's try to remain focused on that.
