Absolutely...

All we need is the financial support.

Like anything else, it takes time and money to improve and perfect the craft.

The problem is when Haitians do produce a film, the community show lack of support which prohibit producers from taking even more energy, time, or money to produce something better.

Don't get me wrong, some movies I see in the Haitian market are poor in quality just because of laziness, lack of education, experience, or a little of both. For example, horrible analogue in the script, bad camera angles, or bad acting (casting family members and friends that cannot act or does not fit the character profile).

To better answer the question...

The best Haitian film will be developed when the industry leaders that specializes in specific areas of film get together.

So, you put together the most creative Haitian script writer with, the best casting director, the best camera guy, the best sound composers, the best editors, the bomb director, the on point wardrobe director, makeup artist etc. (You get the drift) then you will get a new standard in Haitian films.

As far as finances are concerned, initially it will take sacrifice for the entire cast and crew involved but then as the market grows, they will see a return.

Haitians living in America just need to exercise their legal rights for the copyright laws in this country.

The one thing about America is if you making money in the Country legitimately, then you will be heard because the more you loose the more Uncle Sam loose.

Pirating in a big crime that is punishable by fine and imprisonment.

By the way...

There's a movie coming out called " La Vi Pa Fini" produced and Directed by Abner Gelin and Luner Eugene...

This movie is going to be off the chain.

This movie is going to raise the standard in the industry.

The storyline is incredible (very inspiring), the cast is on point, the picture quality is up there, and the camera angles are on point.

I can not wait until this movie comes out...
