Ed Shakespierre's first annual National Haitian American Forum (NHAF) will debut in Palm Beach County on May 30th 2009 at 6:00pm at Toussaint Louverture High School.

This Year's Forum will focus on ""Haitian Americans Unite for New America".

West Palm Beach, Florida (May 15th, 2009) - Ed Shakespierre's national Haitian American Forum (NHAF), one of the most anticipated new event for Haitian Americans this year, will debut in West Palm Beach on Saturday May 30th at Toussaint Louverture High School Auditorium.

THEME

The theme for our first year "Organizing Ourselves For The New America" will capture the essence of what it means to organized as Haitian Americans for better education, economic parity, healthcare, immigration reforms and International policy towards Haiti.

The 2009 Forum featured panel will include Haitian Scholar Dr. Gerard A. Ferere from new York, Dr. Guylaine L. Richard from Maryland, first haitian delegate ever elected to the democratic party Mrs. Evelyn T. Garcia, Palm Beach County first Haitian-American to hold an elected position Mr. Mackenson Bernard, retired major Joe Bernadel, Sun Sentinel reporter, Macolivie Jean-Francois, Ralph Cheriza Haitian journalist in exile and many more wonderful and interesting guests.

This annual Presentation by Ed Shakespierre will be held in May in celebration of our Heritage Month.

The forum is created to educate, uplift, and empower Haitian Americans by bringing people together and engaging them in thoughtful dialogue, leading the way to constructive action.

Haitian Americans are longing for thoughtful, concrete discussions and debates from leaders in our community.
