I kind of agree with you on certains things you have a good point, except for the one man show, maybe some producers who held a video camera on their shoulder, that you should call a one man show.
In our side we do not know what the one man show is. Simply because everyone in the production is as important as the director, even if the director has that vision, but he must share it with the crew, otherwise it is poory executed.

The DP, the First AC, The AD, the Gaffer, Grip to the very bottom of the PA...we must keep it a team otherwise we do not make it. I have told a lot of people about the debate on Belfim.com, I believe that they will join in, lets hope so!
