reaity behind the africain movies

A Concern Filmmaker - May 9 2008, 10:23 AM

if the way we haitian did things worked, we wouldn't be eating dirt today and also be one of the poorest country in the world.

thats a fact. our people love to ambrace other cultures and projects so their neighbors could think that they know better..

like you said (yo konn moun).

that brings a smile to my face. because what that shows, its a lack selfconfidence, we as filmmaker, youngters, musicians are the hope of the country.

we shouldn't seat and suffer, for the weak minded.

instead we shall find ways and strategies to overcome the circumtances and to help however we could.

with that in mind, we have to be aware that, were dealing with a society fill with uneducated people.

again that's a fact. we have to be leaders, that's whats expected from us.we have take charge.

we are the future of this country lets act like it.
im not gonna seat here in blame lionel beeper, or anybody else that sells africain movies.

their allowed to sell whatever they please in their stores, after all they have to find strategies to eat as much as its killing our industry.they know the weakness of our people, they used it against them. so their you have it. the problem is really not africain movies, its really not haitian movies arent good enough, but our people as a nation.

haitian doesnt take pride in their own product, they would much rather ambrace another.

if it wasn't africain movies, it would probably be jamaican or bahamian anything else but nothing made by haitians.

thats a fact.
we can blame these guys for bootlegg haitian products or stealing the africains hard work, for destroying kompa music, for not promoting racine, but not for the scapegoat of a nation seaking its dark soul.
thats a fact.

i am a filmmaker, a leader and haitian.

giving up is not an option.

my message is hope
